These colors make me think of old inlaid gold jewelry. Isn't it nice to know that there are some things we just cannot create? Just absorb and enjoy?
I agree. I'm glad that you are still enjoying these images. When are you going to get the pictures from your trip on to your blog?
Came back with loads, but also with a feeling of aimlessness, which is awful. School begins tomorrow, and I'm hoping the structured life will do the trick.

Yes, thank goodness. Had to go to San Franciso on the 13th to see the Monet exhibit, then on the 15th Matthew Barney's Drawing Restraint, and Cheech Marin's Chicano Exhibit. I'm making a concerted effort to draw every day. The house goes on the market tomorrow, and I still have to paint the outside (the trim is done). My blog has taken a hit, and I'm behind. Life is good again. Thanks for asking.
